Didn't take long for the chickens to realize the coop door would close at a consistent time each day and they would be safely inside for the night. It is awesome for my little flock. We are only permitted to have 3 hens in our city. My girls are loving the covered outdoor space in the rain. They no longer have to stay inside when it gets wet. Perfect for 3-4 hens. Holds well after a year Keeps our flock dry during rain, provides good shade, has 3 nesting boxes and the inside is pretty spacious. The locks do get a bit difficult to use after time due to dirt and dander, but not too big a problem. The hen house covered with waterproof asphalt roof & UV panel which will not leak rain and is more durable than other materials. UV panel in running area can enjoy the enjoy the sunshine.
