I just forgot to remove it from the shopping cart and ended up getting it. I was annoyed by the mishap until I saw my dog's reaction. He is usually very lazy and he is spoiled, so he is not treat crazy. He would do anything for this treats. I found out that he actually remembers and knows all of the commands I have ever taught him if I have one of these morsels in my hand.I assume they were alright treats at first because my dogs ate them but I felt they were way too hard it took a lot of effort to chew so maybe that was a good thing since they wouldn't just swallow without adequately chewing. But after while they wouldn't eat them and I would have to mix them with other treats or find something to squish them flat to be less hard to get them to eat the remainder of treats. Afterwards, I never bought them again.I found this product from another online store for $1.49/bag and I’ve been paying $4.49/bag on Amazon for years. Yikes!!!I agree with other reviewers that they’re harder than they used to be, like stale, but our dog still loves them.My dog loves these treats for puppy training however the bag is kind of small for the price. I do see why it is #1 vet recommended. They are super healthy for dogs.They were hard not soft , I bought them for my older dogs with very little teeth . Don’t buy if you want soft onesThe first treat I gave was almost kind of soft, but my 9 week puppy couldn't eat it - understandable. By the time I tried the next week to give him one (with more teeth), the whole bag was rock hard. Couldn't even break it with my hands. Falsely advertisedMy dog wouldn't even eat these. Rubbery texture that didn't feel like they were edible. My dog just played with it and he will eat ANYTHING!Not soft and chewy. The whole bag of treats are hard as a rocks. Did not give to my puppy, thought she might choke on them.DO NOT BUY, extremely stale and hard, felt like I was giving my puppy hard plastic to eat.
