This is a great product for a chicken coop for those that have uninterrupted sun. Unfortunately, it cuts out if the slightest thing overshadows the solid panel. It doesn’t hold any type of charge and is completely dependent on the sun. I’ll have to return and continue searching for the right product.Very shortly after my original review was posted I was contacted by the seller asking if they could send me another unit to review. I've never had a seller respond so quickly before.They sent me a new item, this time complete with all parts and arriving in a few days in perfect condition.Everything looks very well made, and the fans are labeled with the airflow direction and rotation right on the housings. Hooked it up, everything is easy to connect and each fan has an on/off switch on a short power cord attached. The fans move a lot more air than you'd think from their size. The only thing I'd change is the the power cable from the solar panel splits into 2 parts to attach one to each fan. That junction is not removable and is too big to fit through the glands used to weatherproof cable entry into a building. There should be disconnect connector so a single cable can be run into the building.Otherwise, this is a great unit-I am using it as a fresh air intake rather than an exhaust fan.I appreciate the seller's follow through and willingness to go way above and beyond to satisfy me.***See Update Above***This arrived in a beat up, open box with JUST the solar panel and wires attached to it. No fans, no switches-nothing else, rendering it useless. No mention that I could find that there were 2 packages-order shows as completed. Zero packing inside the box either. Panel is scuffed up-frame even looks to have some white paint on it along with dirt.I will stay away from this brand for good. What a waste of time. Should have gone with a better brand. Waited 13 days for Prime shipping on this-listed as out for delivery a week ago when it had not even shipped yet.We purchased a second unit after installing the first. For small fans, they move a surprising amount of air and even operate modestly in filtered sunlight. We use them to help cool outbuildings that we use for canned and dry food storage. Installation was easy and facilitated by the ample length of cable provided. The one improvement would be to have an accessory switch or timer that would allow use (on battery power) at night. This would really maximize the cooling effect. We plan to rig something up for that purpose.I use these for my alpacas when it's hot in the summer. I only gave 4 stars because they could have been a little bigger.I added these to my chicken coop. They work perfectly. This is a very nice product.Great products and superb service when I had a couple of questions! Thinking of buying another set for another project in the near future.Decent power but only when the solar panel was in full sun.All it takes is a little sunlight and these fans blow good. Fun sun and they blow strong. Would buy again.
