I did a lot of shopping around before buying this, as I generally don't trust solar products to be very efficient overall. I really love this light. We built an outdoor seating area in the backyard, and built up two poles with a cross-bar. We mounted the light in the center of the crossbar, to point down (6 feet above) onto the eating table in the center. It works awesome. My biggest amazement is that this light stays on all night, from dusk, until morning, so I just let it run. It's very bright where I need it, but it doesn't shine out too far, so as not to blind windows next door.Only complaint, sort of, is the remote. It feels a bit chincy, like cheap plastic, which is fine, but it doesn't provide much distance for use. I have an open patio area between the house, and my outdoor lighted seating area. The distance is 25', direct sight. I have to walk up to around 6 feet from the light in order to use the remote. It would be nice if they could improve the distance. But then again, I think my TV remote in the house only goes around 10 feet, so, maybe my complaint is pointless.In any case, this product is lightweight, and very nicely made, with great functionality in brightness settings, and color temperature.These little lights work great in my barn. The remote is easy to use and offers many different functions. The mounting bracket for the solar panel was missing, but I constructed my own from L-brackets that work really well--perhaps better than the intended one. For me, the missing bracket was no big deal. If you don't want the hassle of having to make your own, just be sure to check for the bracket as soon as you get your lights. For me, these are 5-star lights, but I couldn't justify such a rating due to the missing hardware.We purchased two lights (1 solar panel) for a garden shed in early July. They took about a half hour to install. Our shed has a white interior which helps brighten things up but these lights really made the shed POP. The solar panel is inconspicuous and out of the way. The wires are small enough to give it a sleek look. The remote control is a nice feature. Would recommend and purchase again. I will add a follow up review next spring after the winter.I love everything about these lights. I have purchased 2 sets. One of the lights do not come on. They have all been charged for a full day of clear blue sunshine.One of the pendant lights did not work out of the box. Contacted customer service and they sent a whole new complete package that arrived within 2 days. Excellent customer service!!!!I got these to help give light when I work late or am away. The dust till Dawn feature is great. If it’s cloudy and doesn’t charge well, the lights will shut off. Overall, I’m happy with them.This product is great for me as it helps me cut out lights from my solar equation. It’s bright enough and has two brightness settings with three light settings being white, white/yellow mixed, and just yellow. Has an auto on feature with 3 timer settings to turn off which is great for me as it makes it look like someone is homeI installed these in my horses run-in shed. They worked well through even in Minnesota’s long cold winter nights. They would still be shining in the morning after 12+ hrs of darkness.Unfortunately I am having to purchase again as I was hit with straight line winds and the shed was demolished and one of the lamps was ripped from the panel. The other lamp still lit up on the flattened piece of the shed for the few weeks after until it was all cleaned up.the brightness of these lights is like a dim push-light. barely any light. if hung over plants it would be a net negative as the shade it casts would be greater than any light it gives after sunset.I was waiting for get this light for a long time, finally received defective unit, vary disappointing with this Seller's service. NanCheap wiring. Connections broke.
