This device works very well. The sound volume is almost perfect. It came with the new batteries installed; however, someone did not tighten the battery case screw enough for it to work and one contact in a battery slot was depressed enough to also cause power disruption so, I carefully pried it up to make contact. both of these adjustments corrected the problem, and it now works wellIt's funny, made the joke and it was enjoyed.Good funCute gift for grandkids.
