Like the Samyang Noodles, this can get to be quite hot. The flavor however is amazing.You can make it as hot as the 2x "Volcano Noodle" as social media mentioned, or as cool as the regular version, although it is not as concentrated as the 2x noodles.This is a good option when you want the noodle flavor for any soup or noodle mix (including low carb noodles if you can't have much processed sugar/carbs.Tip: Don't add directly to items, it does need to be put into water/liquid to help spread it out as it comes out rather thick so it cannot necessarily be used directly on a dish such as chicken/veggies in general.If you want to use to season a meat/veggie dish, you will want to mix 1-2tbsp to 1 cup of water, blend well, then add to your dish and cook off the extra water.If you like spicy with great flavor. this is it! we use it in soups, for grilling, stir fry and as a dipping sauce. I love their souos and fell in love with the sauce packet. When I found it bottled.. I was thrilled!! We recently gave a bottle to a friend for their Bday (along with a package if short ribs and a bow) and they can't stop raving enough!This stuff is great on chicken tenders, noodles, chicken patties. It has PLENTY of heat. I would equate the heat level to habanero or ghost pepper heat level for comparison. If I am looking for plenty of spiciness along with chicken flavor, will definitely get this again!This 2X hot is a little hotter than the original but what can I say. Their sauces are always top notch and I love that tis hot but has FLAVOR . If you cant take the heat I recommend their original one but they always come through I like to eat it on almost everything . Enjoy. I love the chicken flavor. Most hot sauces are just hot but the chicken flavor makes it more enjoyable and a condiment you can use on almost anything.Let me start this out by saying I’m a Puertorican who grew up eating very spicy foods, I literally LOVE spicy and can handle anything. I had this sauce with my noodles and it was SO GOOD. So flavorful, soooo spicy my mouth was literally on fire (also because I added a lot I didn’t think it would be so spicy) this exceeded my expectations. Perfectly flavorful and spicy and you don’t need a lot to make your food spicy!Used this as a wing sauce for smoked chicken wings. Will definitely do so again.It has a good spice level and the flavor is good as well. Note, don't take out your contact lens after eating food with this on it! LolI can use this for almost anythingIf you like your noodles hot, as in, Korean hot, then this is the sauce is for you. I stick this in my stir fries along with chicken breast / quorn pieces & lots of veg, and its delicious. If you aren't used to spicy, Asian food, I wouldn't advise it - it will blow your head off. If you are, I imagine you'll enjoy the taste and the nice kick, probably one of the best sauces I've had.On a side note, I had this when I had a bit of a cold a while back and it thoroughly cleared out the sinuses; added bonus!As a "dipping" sauce this isn't very good at all, it's magic comes as a flavour enhancer.Add it to some Tomato Ketchup and you've got some spicy ketchup for a burger or nuggets etc.Add it to some stews or pasta sauce for a little or lot of background heat.I generally use 4-8 drops for a sauce for 2-3 people.. 8 being plenty of heat 4 being more background.Flavour wise, really isn't any, and there's far better on the market... Doesn't quite taste like the sauce in 2x spicy noodles - although I think that's the sesame and seaweed people are missing (that's in a second packet).But using it as a general goto heat enhancer it works fine. I'd personally go back to the black one.... Or just buy a better sauce that's actually made for dipping.The black (and red) coloured bottle of this sauce has taste as well as spice. This particular variation of the sauce (all red bottle) is just spice. There's absolutely no taste to it. If spice is what you're looking for then this sauce is the one for you, but I won't be buying this product again.By no means is it super hot, a pleasant kick to add to noodles or pretty much anything.Slightly more synthetic that natural hot sauces but flavour is still nice. I would buy again!Great on chicken but lacks the spice I was looking for. The hype around this brand being "extremely spicy" simply isn't true.If you don't have hot sauce or spice on the daily maybe but for a spice enthusiast this does not have the kick I was looking for.
