This is a fantastic stew that can be thickened or thinned depending on personal taste. I kept it thick and once cooked, I added a can of biscuits to the mixture to make dumplings. I quartered each biscuit placed on top of the mixture and then put in my oven at 350 deg. to bake and brown the 'dumplings' before serving. Truly delicious.
