The other reviews give this product a bad rap but because these feeding nipples are made from STEEL I decided to order anyway.The problem with the other reviews is because they didn't know how to install this product. I used 1/2 schedule 40 PVC and it worked perfectly and the tip doesn't fall out when the chickens are aggressive and poke for a drink. The 1/2 is the correct pipe to use because of this reason.Additional Pros :Shipping was FAST! Came all the way from China to the USA within a few days. I'm impressed.Cons: the rubber grommets do not have ridges to fit the thickness of PVC as shown in the pictures provided. However if you drill your holes slightly smaller they will stay in place and not leak.Consensus:I would buy the again but I'm probably not going to have to because these are solid steel. Unlike the cheap plastic nipples I see that are more popular.
