Didn't take long for the chickens to realize the coop door would close at a consistent time each day and they would be safely inside for the night. I recently purchase this coop and I am absolutely happy with it my hens have plenty of space to nest and there is also plenty of room to roost it is a great addition to my chicken run it is also very adaptable to other runs. Great purchase well built easy to build Great backyard coop for 3 hens I just replaced our old backyard coop with this one. It’s so much stronger and well built than our last one. It is awesome for my little flock. We are only permitted to have 3 hens in our city. My girls are loving the covered outdoor space in the rain. They no longer have to stay inside when it gets wet. Perfect for 3-4 hens. Holds well after a year Keeps our flock dry during rain, provides good shade, has 3 nesting boxes and the inside is pretty spacious. The locks do get a bit difficult to use after time due to dirt and dander, but not too big a problem.
